Who Benefits The Most?
The longer I have been teaching and practicing these amazing therapies the more benefits I notice. You can find a better picture of the benefits on the “benefits of” page located on the drop down menu.
Here are the basics!
- If your thought life or emotional state strongly affects your symptoms. As a general rule if you have periods of “excellent” and “awful” without a whole lot in-between this therapy can be incredibly helpful.
- If you tend to think about life rather than living it. You might have a hard time really enjoying each moment and find that you are often 1 step ahead of the now. Common thoughts might be…
- What’s next? What am I going to do after this? When do I get to…
- When…happens I’ll be happier. I just need to get…then i’m ready to enjoy this time.
- In general you might be very goal oriented and struggle to enjoy the moment unless the moment is “just right” and/or very exciting (such as vacations, or new adventures).
- If you find yourself frequently “stuck” in your mind, and using things like TV, Alcohol, Herbs/Medications, Sleeping etc. to “tune out”.
- If you finding yourself constantly “managing” your symptoms throughout the day by using various techniques or taking various herbs/medications. In short; frequently feeling the need to rely on something to make yourself feel better.
- If you find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, or insomnia.
- If you are struggling with chronic pain that is either constant or wide spread throughout the body.
- If you want to take your life to a whole new level. There is a profound sense of joy and peace that comes from seeing reality through fewer mental and emotional “filters.”
- If you find yourself frequently stuck in an emotional state. For example if you find yourself worrying about all the tiny details, fearful of new or daily experiences, irritated and frustrated by common daily events. Everyone is fully capable of experiencing joy, calm, and fulfillment as a default state in their day to day life.

*Please Note* Traditional Chinese Medicine has always been very clear that the Mind and Body are inter-related and affect each other. While I have found in clinical practice time and again that learning how to digest your emotions has a profound affect on healing a variety of issues I make no claims to specific results. All healing practices need to be “for whom and when”.
*Finally please note that I am not a clinical psychologist or medical doctor. I have training, certifications, and licenses in various practices including but not limited to massage therapy, brain integration therapy, corrective exercise, and traditional chinese herbal medicine. The skills taught in these sessions are applicable for a wide range of individuals but are not to be taken as a replacement for psychological or medical treatment.
