All of the information presented on this website is  from:

Research and agreed upon text references from my specialties. (Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chronic Pain and Movement Impairments, Mental-Emotional Therapies and Meditation/Story Dissolution.)

My understanding of the philosophy of Tantric Yoga of which I am a student and practitioner rather than a teacher or specialist.

My clinical experience working with chronic health struggles (over a decade).

Whenever I am speaking about a topic in which I am not a specialist I have made note of it and whenever possible endeavoured to introduce you to a specialist in the field.

Regardless; my intention is not to convince you of cold/hard facts but rather to share information in the hopes that you will investigate if what I share holds true for you in your own life and personal experience.

Disclaimer:

You will find throughout this blog that I often refer to “similarities” between Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Science. These comparisons are not to be taken literally; I am not a medical doctor or neurologist.

These comparisons are made because there are many similarities between the 2 approaches and using only TCM terms such as “Ethereal Soul” or “Po” is going to be incredibily confusing and frustrating to anyone without a deep understanding of TCM. I describe similar ideas in Western Science to promote an ease of understanding.

I frequently use general terms such as “Body Brain”, or “Blood flow” to describe an idea or concept after I have made comparisons between TCM and Western Science. These terms are used to describe concepts that you would be familiar with and again are not to be taken literally.

All corrective movements are named based on their function and anatomical movement and any similarities to trademarked names are purely coincidental. The term “Faulty movement patterns” and any wording used to describe the same unless specifically noted are not to be confused with any “coined” or trademarked term but rather to describe the physiological lack of coordinated movement. In this regard “faulty movement patterns” and other similar wording can by used synonymously with any lack of motor control which leads to imprecise movement of the musculo-skeletal system.
